This Week at Fertility Authority: A Guide to Picking an Egg Donor
This weeks blog is about picking an egg donor. Please share your tips on picking an egg donor or what characteristics were at the top of your list.

Tips & things we looked for:
ReplyDelete1) Proven donor - had donated previously and that donation resulted in a pregnancy.
2) Relatively young donor - a donor in her twenties.
3) Physical characteristics - someone who had similar hair & eye color to mom, similar height.
4) Level of education - since we are both college and post college grads, we wanted our donor to at least be in college, which she was.
5) Similar talents/interests - since we both are musical and artistic, we chose a donor who stated she shared in these talents/interests.
That's what we went by, and it worked out great!
Laura said it all! However, there are some women who have more specific preferences like nationality. It's somehow related to the physical characteristics, but in a more particular manner.
