With just about 7 weeks, we still have sooo much to do to prepare for Ant. My dear friend came down to my house this weekend to help me with the mural for his room. As you already know we are doing a "Tree Top" theme for his room. We thought the perfect addition would be giant tree in his room.
At first my friend was suppose to help me with the project but it turns out that I am great at painting. I don't know if if you can see but the brown is a mixture of several different colors. It has been a fun project but it is VERY time consuming.
This is also the last week before my MIL comes to stay with us till the end of March. I am very lucky to have the world's best MIL because she is very supportive. During our whole journey there was no pressure from her, it was just from myself. I am glad she will be here because I am in need of help. There are just not enough hours in the day to get everything done.
don't even worry, it all will not be finished before ant arrives, and it will be fine!! all he will really need is you :)
ReplyDeleteI love it! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, the tree looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my word, I would lose my mind if my MIL came and stayed at my house. Thank the good Lord they only live 25 minutes away and that will never happen.
ReplyDeleteHi Donor Diva! I just found your blog and I love it and I bet you are so, so happy that Ant is close. Your room idea is wonderful, I just did Pottery Barn for the girls ;D.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bee. I have a great friend who did the outline of the tree for me. I am hoping to finish up the tree this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI just followed your link here from Bee's blog...
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! All I did was "yellow" for my little one (clever, huh?), and the painting wasn't even completed until after she was born. We did find some great story-book-ish purple polka-dot fabric for curtains, though, and I had great fun fixing up and making a new shade for a lamp that was in my husband's room when he was a child.
