So please don't feel you are any different. You'll get it and it will get easier each day!!! :) Before you know it you'll hit that mark where litterally it seems harder not to breastfeed. :) Chin up! You're doing it! Day by day!
:) Cat (aka-Kitty)Kittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04243975985976449103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6006020072546886501.post-61831553153017201852010-04-01T15:07:25.817-04:002010-04-01T15:07:25.817-04:00Wow, Susan, that just made me cry. You know "regular" breastfeeding is better for bonding, more convient, simpler, and more socially acceptable, but there are so many fears after having weight issues and latching issues. Even when he latches and seems to drink well, you still have this underlying terror of the scale.

My only words of consolation are: this all shall pass. There will be a day when weigh-ins will be all fun and no fear, and there will be a day when you just have to drag that old pump out of the clost so you can go on a date with Doug.

Yes, definitely call her for a private consult. She has lots of great tips, especially if he's still having any tongue issues. And she brings a great sense of calm.

You're doing a great job. There will be easier seasons ahead.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6006020072546886501.post-17903474950280866022010-04-01T12:40:29.091-04:002010-04-01T12:40:29.091-04:00Yeah! It definitely sounds like the group was just what you needed for a boost (plus the timing of things with him hungry and no bottle available sounds like more then coincidence to me) Good luck :)Michelle Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18344980628402079740noreply@blogger.com
